The company is currently hiring a Sr Principal Platform Architect to join the Customer Outcomes division. This position operates on a remote basis.
The individual in this technical advisory role works to accelerate adoption of the platform and improve results for clients. Key duties include guiding customers, internal personnel, and partners during implementations, establishing strong technical foundations, and ensuring platform health through adherence to leading practices. This consultant collaborates with executive leadership, platform owners, enterprise architects, and development groups through the sales, structuring, and deployment phases. The professional will shape technical architectures, manage technical governance, formulate roadmaps, and assist with presales efforts and global roll-out planning.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers, partners, and internal team members to deliver successful technical solutions across multiple workflows
- Partner with executive leaders, platform owners, and development teams during solution selling, structuring, and implementation
- Translate business goals and technical needs into architectural blueprints and customer roadmaps
- Drive technical governance, delivery operating models, and platform health by reducing technical debt
- Support sales activities by scoping and estimating engagements and change orders
- Participate in presales opportunities and promote the platform architect role across accounts
- Contribute to leading practices and mentor others for professional development
Requirements
- Fifteen or more years of progressive professional services experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Management consulting background
- Availability to travel up to 80 percent of the time
- Experience driving complex issues through analysis and resolution
Qualifications
- Experience leveraging or integrating artificial intelligence into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
- Industry domain expertise
- Large program experience leading architecture and design
- Enterprise architecture background
- Cloud application technology experience
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or IT4IT
- ServiceNow certifications aligned to specific workflows
