This position suits an experienced designer who enjoys navigating ambiguity, solving complex product challenges, and experimenting with AI capabilities. In this role, the Sr. Product Designer will lead high-impact product initiatives from the initial discovery phase through to final release. Responsibilities include designing AI-driven workflows, prototyping interactions, collaborating closely with engineers, and contributing front-end code directly into the codebase. The ideal candidate thinks in systems, balances user needs with business goals and technical limitations, and helps mentor other team members to elevate the design practice.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex and high-impact product initiatives from discovery to release
- Prioritize real-world product impact over pixel-perfect mockups by shipping regularly
- Design trustworthy, useful, and intuitive AI-powered features and workflows
- Collaborate with engineers to refine implementation details and ensure high-quality execution
- Contribute front-end code directly into the codebase
- Create prototypes and use testing tools to evaluate workflows, interactions, and edge cases
- Balance technical constraints, business goals, and user needs to deliver measurable outcomes
- Strengthen and evolve the Dialtone design system for accessibility, scale, and cohesion
- Identify new opportunities for automation and AI to deliver customer value
- Mentor other designers to elevate the team's craft, speed, and delivery quality
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience shipping high-quality product design work
- Demonstrated strong track record of delivered user experiences
- High comfort level with navigating ambiguity and leading complex projects independently
- Ability to think in systems and design cohesive end-to-end experiences
- Experience working directly in front-end code and collaborating closely with engineering
- Experience working with AI tools and designing AI-enhanced experiences
- Clear and persuasive communication skills across disciplines, including leadership
- Commitment to craft, detail, usability, and measurable product outcomes
