ServiceNow is seeking a Sr Revenue Accountant for a full-time position located in Bengaluru. This role is assigned an on-site work persona. The successful candidate will handle monthly revenue close activities, including reporting, reconciliations, and accounting tasks. Responsibilities also include monitoring SEC and US GAAP developments, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition processes, and identifying process enhancements through technologies like AI.
The position requires collaboration with various internal groups such as Legal, Finance, IT, and Sales Ops, alongside a multinational team. Additional duties involve supporting user acceptance testing for enterprise projects, maintaining SOX compliance, and assisting with audits.
Responsibilities
- Complete month-end close tasks related to revenue close including accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
- Monitor US GAAP and SEC developments to maintain accurate revenue accounting
- Evaluate actions and implement controls for compliance with revenue recognition processes
- Identify and execute process improvements utilizing technologies such as AI
- Support user acceptance testing during enterprise project implementations
- Maintain SOX compliance and assist with audits
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple international offices and internal departments including Finance, Legal, IT, and Sales Ops
Requirements
- Hold a CA or CPA qualification
- Bring at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrate fluency in English
- Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Work independently to meet deadlines as a self-starter
- Collaborate effectively within a team to complete cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- Background working in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a SaaS-based multinational company
- Working knowledge of current literature associated with ASC 606
- Proficiency in MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BI
- Experience utilizing SAP
