This position suits an experienced accounting professional who can lead month-end closes, collaborate directly with commercial stakeholders, and establish a retail onboarding playbook for major new partnerships. The individual will manage one direct report and join the senior Financial Operations leadership team, coordinating closely with peers across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close process for the UK balance sheet from beginning to end
- Partner with the UK commercial team to analyze revenue channels and address financial questions
- Develop a structured retail customer onboarding playbook for large new retail partnerships
- Supervise and support one direct report
- Coordinate with Financial Accounting Manager peers in Australia, the US, and Canada
- Identify and escalate reporting risks and off-budget variances
Requirements
- Ability to run the month-end close process independently and oversee balance sheet and P&L accuracy
- Experience communicating financial results clearly to commercial teams and leadership
- Capacity to provide direct, clear, and constructive feedback to team members
