Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain server-side applications and application programming interfaces
- Build and optimize data storage solutions, database queries, and schemas
- Partner with frontend developers to merge user-facing components with server logic
- Take part in code reviews and help shape architectural choices
- Debug, troubleshoot, and modernize legacy systems
- Apply data protection and security safeguards
- Deploy and oversee backend services using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Build out microservices architecture components
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of backend development background utilizing Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on expertise in database management
- Practical background in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience with microservices design and implementation
- Expertise in scalability and performance tuning involving caching, message queues, and large distributed systems
- Background in establishing authentication, authorization, and data protection controls
