PointClickCare is recruiting a Strategic Finance Analytics Manager for a remote position based in the USA. The role is newly created to build and lead the financial modelling and analysis function at the heart of the strategic finance team. It is a full-time post.
The manager builds models, tools and decision support so leaders can improve profit, sharpen commercial plans and allocate resources. The work sits where finance, strategy and sales planning meet. The first focus is pricing and monetisation analysis, while the longer aim is to create analytical frameworks that can handle any strategic finance question the business raises.
A distinctive part of the role is applying artificial intelligence and machine learning, including language models and predictive techniques, to make modelling, scenario planning and reporting faster and more precise. The manager will also create self-service analytics products so that finance, pricing, sales operations and business-unit leaders work from consistent, decision-ready figures.
Key duties include constructing profitability models that quantify the revenue and margin results of pricing, packaging and market-entry moves, tracking discount compliance, revenue capture and contribution margin, and producing regular profit reporting for executives and go-to-market heads. The post coordinates with FP&A, sales operations, revenue assurance and finance operations, and may contribute to board and investor material on pricing strategy and monetisation performance.
Applicants should hold a university qualification in a quantitative area such as finance, business or economics, and have five to seven years spent in financial analysis roles, FP&A work or quantitative strategy at SaaS or tech businesses. Hands-on AI and machine learning practice is treated as central to the job rather than optional.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain profitability models that test the revenue and margin impact of strategic decisions
- Run scenarios and sensitivity analyses on bundling, pricing, go-to-market and investment choices against annual recurring revenue, net revenue retention and contribution margin
- Use AI and machine learning tools, including language models and predictive methods, to accelerate modelling, scenario creation and reporting
- Create self-service analytics products for finance, pricing, sales operations and business-unit leaders
- Assess pricing changes by modelling customer, revenue and margin effects across segments and regions
- Track pricing and monetisation indicators and quantify the financial effects of pricing rules, discount policies and packaging
- Deliver profitability and commercial performance reports for executive and go-to-market leaders, including a framework to gauge how well initiatives perform
- Work with FP&A and sales operations on forecasting, and partner with the revenue assurance and finance operations teams on pricing-related risk
- Serve as chief analytical counsel for pricing, enablement and business-unit heads, converting complex findings into clear recommendations
- Present models and conclusions to senior leaders and help prepare board and investor material
Requirements
- A university qualification in a quantitative area such as finance, business or economics
- Five to seven years spent in financial analysis roles, FP&A work or quantitative strategy at SaaS or tech firms
- Excellent financial modelling and scenario testing skills, including a track record of building revenue, profit or pricing models that shaped decisions
- Practical, hands-on use of AI and machine learning in modelling and reporting
