PointClickCare is seeking a Subscription and Billing Analyst on a six-month contract. The posting does not name a work location. The analyst acts as a finance partner to internal teams and customers on transactions, with frequent contact across the business and a strong emphasis on accuracy.
This is a subject-matter role for subscription management. The work covers billing data analysis, reconciliation and corrections, and taking subscription problems from first analysis through to resolution. The analyst also helps the business agree on good practice for subscription processes.
Many assignments involve large accounts with several layers of data, where changes such as a plan migration can alter subscriptions. The analyst prepares account reports, carries out detailed reconciliations, reads master agreement terms and applies changes in line with each customer's contract.
Daily systems include Salesforce and NetSuite. Duties include settling billing disputes, adjusting subscriptions, processing cancellations and terminations, drafting credit justifications for management approval, issuing credit notes and re-bills, and coordinating amendments with Customer Success and Professional Services. The role suits an analyst with two to three years in finance or operations, a controls and root-cause mindset, and familiarity with SaaS subscription billing.
Responsibilities
- Review cases to choose the right action and confirm compliance with terms
- Read master service agreement clauses and apply changes that follow each customer's contractual commitments
- Analyse high-value accounts with several data layers, tracing how changes such as plan migrations affected subscriptions
- Produce account subscription reports and complete complex reconciliations
- Post financial transactions in Salesforce and NetSuite
- Settle billing disputes, correct subscriptions, and process cancellations and terminations
- Prepare credit analysis for management approval within company credit rules
- Issue credit memos and re-bills and send them to customers
- Spot billing irregularities and handle amendments with Customer Success and Professional Services
- Support company-wide data initiatives by analysing variances and explaining them to teams that build back-end logic
Requirements
- Two to three years' experience in finance or operations, process improvement, financial analysis, or roles built around finding root causes and designing controls
- Advanced Microsoft Office and PowerPoint proficiency
- Solid understanding of quote-to-cash: pricing, discounts, quotes, bookings, fulfilment, contracts, billing, amendments and renewals
- Strong analytical and organisational ability, comfortable with high volumes of complex data from many systems
- Ability to present results to senior management
- Clear written and spoken communication, plus sound problem-solving
- Able to handle tight deadlines and many cases or projects at once in a quick-moving setting
Qualifications
