Job Description

Moniepoint is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage hiring from start to finish across technical and non-technical areas. The company presents itself as an all-in-one financial ecosystem in Africa that supplies businesses and their customers with payments, banking, credit, and management tools. This is a full-time, on-site job.

The specialist takes responsibility for the complete hiring cycle: scoping the role with the hiring manager, sourcing, arranging interviews, negotiating offers, closing hires, and onboarding. The work also includes building a steady flow of qualified candidates for present and future openings, and developing strong ties with hiring managers at every level.

Beyond recruitment, the specialist helps deliver HR initiatives, suggests improvements to processes and programs, and helps put HR strategies, policies, and retention programs into practice.

The listing suits someone with a minimum of three years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, gained either at a recruitment agency or in-house, who excels at stakeholder relationships, negotiation, and looking after candidates. The hiring path has three stages: a take-home task, a technical conversation with the talent acquisition team, and a final round that mixes behavioural and technical questions with a TA leadership member.

Responsibilities

  • Run the full recruitment cycle, from job intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, hiring, and onboarding
  • Create proactive pipelines of qualified applicants for present and upcoming openings
  • Partner with hiring managers across every level to plan staffing and build durable working ties
  • Help carry out HR initiatives and recommend improvements to processes and programs
  • Assist in putting HR strategies, policies, and retention programs into practice

Requirements

  • At least three years of relevant experience, including full life-cycle recruiting
  • Background as an agency recruiter or an in-house recruiter
  • Experience filling technical and non-technical posts, such as engineering, business, and commercial roles
  • Working familiarity with HR information systems and applicant tracking software
  • Relationship-building, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Strong organization, meticulous attention to detail, and sound business judgment
  • Self-driven, able to deliver in a fast-moving setting

Qualifications

  • Creative sourcing, candidate handling, and candidate care
  • Grasp of multiple business functions and of how team projects connect to company goals

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, pension contributions, and health insurance
  • Yearly bonus plus additional perks
  • A learning culture with knowledge sharing and regular internal technical talks
