The company is currently hiring a Talent Development Leader, Foundational Talent Products to design and scale an innovative enterprise capability framework and tech-forward learning ecosystem for both individual contributor and leadership tracks.

This strategic position suits a technical instructional designer or learning architect who wants to build foundational learning infrastructure from scratch. The role involves managing the full product lifecycle of learning solutions, defining modular content taxonomies, embedding AI-native competencies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver blended learning directly in the workflow.

The role operates on an on-site model requiring office attendance approximately two to three days per week at physical locations in Denver, San Francisco, or New York City, or the Scottsdale office for Symmetry roles. Team members are expected to actively engage with AI tools pertinent to their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for the capability framework as a live product incorporating user needs, performance metrics, and business strategy.
  • Partner with content designers to build, ship, and scale blended learning experiences through iterative development cycles.
  • Establish the strategic vision for core enablement programs utilizing a hub-and-spoke model.
  • Own architectural design for modular content and automated governance to keep learning objects updated.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and executive stakeholders to analyze skill data and align learning investments with organizational goals.
  • Partner with People Technology teams to write functional and technical requirements for integrating learning experiences natively into HR platforms.
  • Diagnose emerging capability needs directly with enterprise leaders and translate operational priorities into actionable guidance.

Requirements

  • Approximately 8 or more years of progressive experience in Talent Development, Learning Architecture, Technical Instructional Design, or Organizational Design.
  • Track record of building foundational programs from scratch.
  • Expertise in technical instructional design and modular architecture for searchable and adaptable content.
  • Experience integrating generative AI or automation into content production pipelines and defining AI-native skills.
  • Ability to work on-site at designated office locations approximately two to three days per week.
