To support this infrastructure, Xendit is currently hiring a UX Designer focused on Developer Experience to refine technical products.
This position centers on shaping the experience for software developers who interact with complex, information-dense environments. Professionals in this role design integration surfaces, developer dashboards, documentation layouts, API references, testing flows, sandboxes, and error states. Reporting directly to the Product Design and UX Director for Customer Lifecycle, the selected designer works alongside the Developer Experience product manager and engineering teams as the dedicated design owner for developer-facing tools.
The role suits product designers who excel at organizing dense information, working with technical audiences, and partnering closely with engineers. Team members operate using validated research findings rather than assumptions and participate in direct, candid design critiques. The position utilizes the existing domain design system while collaborating with the senior design-system lead on shared patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design products for the developer dashboard and integration surfaces
- Handle information design for documentation and API references alongside engineering and content partners
- Create solutions for error states, empty states, sandboxes, and testing workflows
- Conduct discovery research directly with developers
- Collaborate closely with the Developer Experience product manager and engineering teams
