InMarket is seeking a remote Vice President, Practice Leader for Specialty Retail to join its team on a full-time basis. Since 2010, the company has provided consumer intelligence and real-time activation platforms for major brands, utilizing tools like its proprietary Moments offering and the LCI attribution platform.
In this role, you will collaborate with the core sales group and leadership to present the company product suite directly to retailers and supporting agencies. You will take ownership of the Specialty Retail vertical, which covers subverticals such as apparel, department stores, electronics, home decor, sporting goods, and malls, while excluding grocery, drug, mass, dollar, club, and convenience channels. The position involves establishing brand-level discussions, helping individual sellers position their meetings, and speaking at events as a thought leader. This opportunity is well-suited for a seasoned professional with extensive background in retail leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
- Partner with the core sales team to introduce professional network connections
- Collaborate directly with retailers and supporting agencies to promote media, measurement, and insights products
- Work alongside sales leadership to present offerings to top-tier retailers and agencies
- Manage the Specialty Retail vertical across multiple designated subverticals
- Facilitate brand-level discussions and open doors for individual sellers
- Advise staff on meeting positioning and assist direct sellers
- Speak at events to represent the company as a thought leader
Requirements
- Over ten years of retail leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, product, and sales teams
