GoFasti operates as a Talent-as-a-Service provider connecting professionals from Latin America with global organizations. The company is currently recruiting for a Solution Architect Lead position to work remotely on a full-time contract basis.
This role suits an analytical professional with strong communication capabilities who can successfully manage client relationships while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will act as the primary technical contact for clients, spearhead discovery sessions, and oversee the implementation of comprehensive data and analytics systems.
Core duties involve designing complete technical frameworks encompassing data ingestion, warehousing, transformation, and reporting, alongside producing clear architecture blueprints and technical documentation. The chosen professional will also directly supervise, mentor, and balance workloads for a team of data engineers, analysts, and business intelligence developers.
Additionally, the person in this role will contribute to internal capability development by creating reusable frameworks and standards, while assisting with pre-sales proposals and scoping. Candidates should note that travel to client sites may be required depending on project needs, and the talent will be allocated to work directly with a GoFasti client.
Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery and requirements gathering to define business objectives and success criteria
- Design comprehensive solution architectures spanning data ingestion, modeling, warehousing, and reporting
- Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and project roadmaps for diverse stakeholders
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Review the work of data engineers, analysts, and business intelligence developers to uphold quality standards
- Build internal reusable frameworks, accelerators, and architecture standards
- Participate in pre-sales tasks such as solution scoping, effort estimation, and RFP responses
- Manage a team directly by handling staffing, workload balancing, and day-to-day performance management
- Travel to client locations as necessitated by specific engagements
Requirements
- Five to seven or more years of professional background designing and delivering complete data and analytics solutions
- Hands-on practice with at least one major cloud data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of data modeling methodologies like dimensional modeling or data vault
- Fluency in the English language
- Availability to work remotely
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional background
