Job Description

Juniper Square sells a platform to private markets firms covering fundraising, investor onboarding, reporting and fund administration. The company says it already runs these functions for thousands of real estate and venture firms and is now pushing into private equity fund administration. This Account Executive post sits on the Private Equity sales team and centers on selling the complete platform, including that fund administration offering, to institutional private equity firms.

The target buyers are senior finance and investor relations executives at institutional PE shops, such as CFOs, COOs and heads of IR. The seller plans accounts individually, builds a pipeline that stretches across several quarters for long deals, and brings in intermediaries such as placement agents, auditors, lawyers and consultants to open doors and speed decisions.

The work is consultative. The AE designs discovery for complicated organizations, assembles a business case that covers both software and administration, charts who must approve a purchase, and moves the deal through procurement, legal review, security assessment and RFP paperwork. Sellers are also expected to discuss the mechanics of private equity, including waterfall distributions, carried interest, layered fund structures, ILPA guidance and institutional investor reporting.

Pay combines a base salary, commissions and equity, with a benefits package. The posted US base range is USD 120,000 to 145,000, and actual base pay depends on experience, skills and location. The listing is marked remote.

Responsibilities

  • Run account-based outreach to CFOs, COOs and heads of investor relations at institutional PE firms.
  • Grow a multi-quarter pipeline for long deals while keeping near-term revenue covered.
  • Use intermediaries to gain entry to prospects and shorten decision timelines.
  • Chart the purchase path, including required sign-offs, partnership votes and investment committee approvals.
  • Anticipate objections on security assessments, SOC compliance, transition risk and data migration early.
  • Drive long deals with shared action plans and milestone checkpoints.
  • Run demos that focus on outcomes for senior stakeholders, and be candid about roadmap timing.

Requirements

  • Four to eight years of B2B full-cycle sales with a quota, and a steady record of meeting it.
  • Experience selling to upper mid-market or institutional customers with lengthy cycles and many decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to get deals through procurement, legal and security checks.
  • Background selling software, fintech or professional services, ideally more than one of these.
  • Commanding presence when leading high-stakes talks with senior private equity professionals.
  • Skill in territory and account planning, including managing a pipeline across several quarters.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on sales history with PE shops or alternative asset managers.
  • Understanding of PE administration, fund accounting, carried interest math or institutional investor reporting.
  • Experience closing bundled technology and services deals with complicated pricing.
  • Relationships with fund sponsors, placement agents, auditors, or PE-oriented advisors.
  • Awareness of the competitive field.

Core Skills

  • Life insurance and mental wellness support.
  • Fertility and family-building assistance.
  • Flexible time off on top of company holidays.
  • Paid family, medical and bereavement leave.
  • Retirement savings plans.
  • Allowance for equipping a home workspace.
