Job Description
Dropbox has an opening for an Account Executive covering the UK and Ireland. The person manages every stage of the sales process, from building a pipeline through closing and renewals, inside a designated territory. The posting targets someone who enjoys winning new buyers and not only farming existing accounts.
Daily work centers on opening doors into fresh teams and departments, reaching senior decision-makers, and finding new reasons customers should adopt more Dropbox offerings. Pipeline comes from cold outreach, account mapping, events and partner work, and revenue forecasts must stay reliable.
Sellers are also expected to feed insights back into strategy, helping sharpen the ideal customer profile, messaging and use cases for products such as Dash. Strong discovery and structured qualification methods, for instance MEDDICC or SPICED, form the basis of the approach.
Applicants should have at least four years of software-as-a-service sales background, preferably in early-stage or changing markets, and a track record of hitting goals while selling to mid-sized and large organizations. Published pay bands are 109,700 to 148,400 pounds for the UK and 96,100 to 129,900 euros for Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the whole cycle, from pipeline creation through closing and renewal, in your territory
- Open new doors within prospects' teams, departments and leadership
- Generate pipeline through outbound campaigns, account research, events and partners
- Produce accurate forecasts and keep the pipeline on track for revenue goals
- Run disciplined discovery and apply qualification models such as MEDDICC or SPICED
- Present solutions in terms of results and build momentum toward decisions
- Share field observations that shape go-to-market plans for customer profile, messaging and use cases
Requirements
- Four or more years selling B2B software
- Ability to build new pipeline, handle complicated deals and close in new or unclear markets
- Experience with mid-market and enterprise buyers, including senior executives
- Discipline in qualification and value-based selling
- Consistent results against quota
- Self-starting and resourceful, comfortable acting without a complete playbook
- Good organization, CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) and accurate forecasting
Qualifications
- Experience launching a new or emerging product inside an established portfolio
- Time spent in periods of heavy change or transformation
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Basic comfort with AI and productivity software
