Job Description
Bosch seeks an Application Deputy Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru, operating with an all-India scope. This role focuses on delivering technical application support, conducting product demonstrations, and developing value-added services for construction sector customers.
The position involves working closely with construction segment key users at projects and sites to understand operational pain points, study specific applications, and recommend appropriate power-tool solutions. Key responsibilities include supporting sales teams across pre-sales and post-sales activities, preparing technical offers, driving new product launches, organizing user engagement events, and managing the user pipeline using the C4C CRM tool.
Additionally, the role requires gathering market trends, analyzing competitor activities, providing product feedback to regional and global roadmaps, and training internal sales teams on application-specific case studies. The candidate reports directly to the Business Head of the KU Business.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical application support, product demonstrations, and solution development for construction customers
- Establish direct relationships with key stakeholders across construction sites and projects
- Support sales teams during pre-sales presentations, technical discussions, and post-sales installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Track ongoing and upcoming projects, expansion plans, and replacement schedules to build a healthy sales pipeline
- Propose value-added services and solutions to increase the employer share of wallet and eliminate competition
- Drive new product launches and organize technical seminars, technology days, and user trainings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve user complaints and relay product performance feedback
Requirements
- Possess 8 to 10 years of experience in technical and expertise roles
- Have knowledge of the civil, construction, and manufacturing industries
- Work on-site in Bengaluru with all-India responsibilities
Qualifications
- Hold a BE or BTech degree
- Possess an MBA as an additional advantage
