Experian is hiring an on-site Application Security Manager to work in Hyderabad on a full-time basis. This position involves leading and mentoring a team of penetration testers and application security engineers while overseeing daily project tasks and operations. The person in this role will direct the application security program, enhance testing operations, and participate in technology and security strategic planning to integrate risk governance into corporate strategy.
Key duties include defining security strategies for SAST, DAST, SCA, and penetration testing, driving an AI-first transformation, and serving as a subject matter expert in cloud, network, and application security. The professional will assist development teams in addressing risks like the OWASP Top 10, collaborate with Risk and Compliance groups on audits such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and HIPAA, and guide enterprise-wide security technology implementation projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of application security engineers and penetration testers
- Direct and mature the application security program and operations
- Participate in security and technology strategic planning for enterprise risk governance
- Assess risk and advise on software security during business decisions
- Establish strategies and oversee operations for SAST, SCA, DAST, and penetration testing
- Lead an AI-first transformation to boost service efficiency and effectiveness
- Guide development teams through application reviews and mitigate risks from the OWASP Top 10 and other common flaws
- Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams on audits including SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA
- Implement enterprise security technologies and define automated tool guardrails and SLAs
- Coordinate with security champions to build relationships and achieve deliverables
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise-level application security
- Minimum 3 years of overall professional experience
- Previous experience leading penetration testing teams
- Familiarity with cloud-based application architectures
Qualifications
- Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering, or 5 years of equivalent work experience in application development
- Preferred certifications include OSCE3, OSCE, OSCP, OSWE, CCSAS, CCT, CRT, GXPN, CISSP, CSSLP, or similar credentials
