CertiK is hiring a contract Business Development Associate - Vietnam to join its remote global team.
Founded in 2017 with roots in academic research at Columbia and Yale, the company specializes in Web3 security, utilizing formal verification and artificial intelligence to protect decentralized applications, blockchain protocols, and smart contracts. Backed by major investors such as Sequoia Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Insight Partners, the firm delivers end-to-end security solutions including compliance, penetration testing, and audits for thousands of clients worldwide.
This position suits a sales professional with a background in digital assets, software, or cybersecurity who can drive full-cycle sales and build client relationships in the region. The incumbent will source leads, manage complex negotiations, and collaborate with internal technical teams while representing the organization at local industry gatherings.
Applicants must reside outside of the United States, as this position cannot be performed from within the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and contact decision-makers like founders and CTOs across Web3 projects, exchanges, and blockchain networks
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact and technical discovery to pricing negotiations and contract signing
- Sell security services to traditional financial institutions, family offices, asset managers, and technology enterprises
- Partner with global marketing, delivery, solutions architecture, and security engineering departments to onboard clients
- Foster long-term account relationships to secure subscription renewals and additional audit services
- Attend regional meetups, industry events, and conferences to represent the company
Requirements
- Possess two to five years of successful B2B sales or business development experience in cybersecurity, Web3, institutional fintech, SaaS, or blockchain security
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Web3 ecosystems, tokenomics, smart contract architectures, and EVM or Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols
- Understand Web2 cybersecurity basics such as risk assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing
- Have professional working proficiency in both English and Vietnamese
- Show a proven history of meeting or surpassing quarterly sales goals through consultative closing and outbound prospecting
- Perform the job from outside the United States
Qualifications
- Speak additional regional languages such as Korean or Japanese
- Bring direct experience selling bug bounty programs, penetration tests, or smart contract audits
- Understand the digital asset licensing landscape in Vietnam
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
