Flex is a financial technology company headquartered in New York City that provides a platform designed to help users split and manage their monthly rent payments according to personal budgets. The company is currently hiring a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to lead, build, and expand large enterprise alliances. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, this professional will create joint business plans, oversee day-to-day operations, and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including sales, product, legal, and marketing.
This position is suited for an experienced, self-driven operator with a background in business development or enterprise sales within the technology or financial sector. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, financial modeling skills, and the ability to negotiate and present to senior stakeholders. Flex operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring employees to work from local offices two to three days per week in New York, San Francisco, or Salt Lake City, while offering remote flexibility for eligible candidates outside those areas.
Responsibilities
- Launch and scale strategic partnerships aligned with business growth objectives
- Create joint business plans, conduct financial modeling, and drive growth initiatives
- Manage and expand relationships with major strategic partners
- Run monthly and quarterly partnership business reviews
- Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure accountability and identify improvements
- Collaborate across departments including sales, marketing, product, engineering, support, and legal
Requirements
- Possess six to eight or more years of relevant experience in SaaS or FinTech business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, investment banking, or top-tier strategy consulting
- Demonstrate a track record of launching and scaling strategic partnerships or high-value client relationships
- Have strong analytical capabilities and experience using data-driven insights for decision-making
- Bring excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
