The organization is currently seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships to direct, build, and scale major enterprise relationships within the core rent sector, while also discovering new acquisition channels for renters. This position reports directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and is well-suited for an autonomous, results-oriented operator with a strong background in business development or strategic consulting.
The person in this role will independently lead complex deal structures, create joint business plans, perform financial modeling, and oversee contract renewals. Responsibilities span across launching new growth initiatives, managing day-to-day partner operations, designing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating cross-functional teams including product, engineering, legal, sales, and marketing. Candidates must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, analyzing data-driven metrics, and aligning stakeholders.
Flex operates as a hybrid workplace requiring two to three days per week on-site for those situated near company offices in New York, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City, with remote flexibility available for other locations. The position offers an OTE compensation range between USD 200,000 and USD 300,000 per year depending on geographic location and experience level, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical coverage, company equity, a matching 401(k) plan, and unlimited paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Launch and structure complex strategic partnerships aligned with overall company growth objectives
- Develop joint business plans, financial models, and operational rhythms for key enterprise partners
- Collaborate across internal departments such as sales, marketing, product, engineering, support, and legal
- Manage daily partner operations, drive performance reviews, and track partnership metrics
- Negotiate partner contract renewals and navigate relationship complexities and competitive dynamics
Requirements
- Possess eight to ten or more years of relevant experience in fintech or SaaS business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, investment banking, or top-tier strategy consulting
- Demonstrate a proven record of independently launching and scaling complex strategic partnerships or managing high-value client relationships
- Hold a bachelor's degree
