Job Description
Mactores operates as an agent-native Amazon Web Services modernization firm that delivers production solutions for mid-market and lower-enterprise organizations within financial services, healthcare, life sciences, internet, software, manufacturing, and TMEGS sectors. The company deploys autonomous agents combined with forward-deployed engineers to handle data platform migrations, legacy software refactoring, and AI implementations on fixed-fee and fixed-date timelines.
The organization seeks a Business Development Representative to act as the primary contact for Amazon Web Services sales teams across United States territories. This position focuses on building relationships with account managers, inside sales managers, partner-development managers, and specialist sellers. Rather than using rigid scripts and high-volume outreach sequences, the selected professional will engage stakeholders in substantive discussions regarding customer modernization hurdles, anchor pitches around documented case studies, and coordinate technical introductions with forward-deployed engineers.
This opportunity suits candidates comfortable working independently within a distributed structure who possess a solid grasp of cloud concepts and business-value articulation. The position demands domestic travel around thirty percent of the time to visit regional offices, customer sites, and industry gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Develop coverage across United States Amazon Web Services sales territories by engaging with account managers, inside sales managers, and specialist sellers.
- Participate in regional partner gatherings and Amazon Web Services Summits to establish and maintain professional relationships.
- Present agent-native modernization concepts and differentiate the firm's model from other partners.
- Utilize documented case studies highlighting customer outcomes, time-to-value, and cost reductions during outreach.
- Identify prospective customer fit, clarify business problems, and coordinate technical demonstrations with forward-deployed engineers.
- Register sales opportunities in ACE, source Amazon-originated pipeline, and maintain communication with field reps through deal close.
- Report market feedback, customer pain points, and messaging trends back to internal leadership.
Requirements
- Bring three to five years of experience in business development, sales development, or partner-development roles.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to generate a qualified sales pipeline from cold outreach.
- Display familiarity with cloud modernization, data platform, and agentic artificial intelligence concepts.
- Possess sharp business-value communication skills to translate complex client challenges into clear solutions.
- Operate successfully in a self-managed, remote work environment without constant oversight.
Qualifications
- Prior work history with an Amazon Web Services partner.
- Familiarity with Partner Central, ACE, or Migration Acceleration Program tools.
- Past attendance at Amazon Web Services re:Invent or regional summits.
