Job Description
This Enterprise-focused Business Strategy and Operations Analyst II post at Motive is a full-time job in Pakistan. Motive offers a single system that helps safety, operations and finance departments handle drivers, vehicles, equipment and fleet expenditure, and its client base spans large corporations to small firms across numerous sectors.
The analyst works as a strategic adviser to Sales and go-to-market heads. Much of the workload revolves around recurring performance reviews held each week and each quarter, where figures are reconciled and the reasons for changes are explained. The group also maintains the data pipelines behind those reviews, helps design territories and coverage plans, and monitors quota achievement and KPIs. Current effort is aimed at swapping hand-driven processes for AI agents, process flows and scripted automation, and the employee is expected to construct these tools personally.
Applicants should have at least two years of experience in sales or revenue operations, BI, or commercial strategy, including responsibility for ongoing reporting or analytics for a revenue team. The listing gives heavy weight to SQL, advanced spreadsheet work, knowledge of Salesforce, and proven delivery of automation built with Glean, n8n or Apps Script. Familiarity with Hex or similar tools and with Python is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the weekly and quarterly review rhythm, reconciling numbers and tracing what drove each movement.
- Spot repetitive tasks that can be eliminated and deliver the agents, multi-system flows or scripted pipelines that replace them.
- Study pipeline, conversion, forecast and rep-productivity figures and attach a clear suggestion to every conclusion.
- Advise sales leaders on how territories are drawn, accounts are allocated, books are balanced and capacity is added.
- Keep attainment, target and KPI tracking precise, with metric definitions robust enough for senior scrutiny.
- Partner with finance, marketing, SDR, enablement, data quality and systems colleagues to correct issues where they begin.
- Embed quality controls in every output and fix the root cause whenever a problem resurfaces.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years in sales ops, revenue ops, BI or commercial strategy, running ongoing reporting or analysis for a sales organization.
- Autonomous SQL capability: writing and troubleshooting warehouse queries using joins, window functions, common table expressions and aggregations (required).
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and practical Salesforce knowledge covering objects, fields and reports (required).
- Demonstrated record of deploying working automation via Glean, n8n, Apps Script or equivalent tools.
- Capacity to turn a loose question into a structured analysis, walk non-technical executives through how data is organized, and present numbers in plain language.
- Strict personal accuracy standard and initiative in following up with other departments until questions are answered.
Qualifications
- Experience with Hex or comparable analytics platforms, plus Python (a strong asset).
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics, economics, engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Graduate degrees or credentials (a bonus).
