Job Description
PointClickCare is hiring a remote, full-time Software Training Specialist for its clinical software products. The specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Professional Services. Up to 30 percent travel to customer sites is required for eligibility, and training is delivered both online and onsite.
The employer is a privately held, founder-led health technology company. Its platform is used by more than 30,000 provider organizations and includes a marketplace of over 400 integrated partners. The specialist supports customers in the senior care sector, helping their staff adopt the software.
The role designs and delivers training for new and current customers. Work includes scheduling sessions and managing attendees and resources, promoting self-paced online modules, and finding out what each group needs. The specialist updates curriculum to match product releases, reviews how formats work, and relies on AI tooling to review what learners say and how they perform.
Customer adoption is central. The specialist sets reinforcement tactics such as spaced learning, short challenges, job aids and peer groups; mentors super users; runs train-the-trainer sessions; and checks whether knowledge sticks after training. The role relays risks to Product, Support and Customer Success, and helps meet satisfaction and compliance goals. Ideal candidates have post-secondary schooling, client-facing training experience, and the communication skills to explain technical matters to non-experts.
