Job Description
The Chief of Staff post sits in the CEO's Office at Turing and is listed with a United States location and on-site arrangements. It is external-facing: the holder joins the chief executive in dealings with investors, frontier AI laboratories, large-company leaders, partners, board members, and reporters, and works to make those dealings produce results.
Major duties include running the chief executive's side of the company's next fundraising round, which covers target investor lists, timing, collateral, document-room upkeep, and due diligence. The holder also drafts decks and memos for critical meetings, supports follow-up on large commercial deals with frontier AI labs, and sets up the briefing and follow-up routines that keep top relationships warm.
Internal operations, calendar and travel administration, finance strategy and modeling, sales account management, and internal program management fall outside the job. Sensitive special projects that demand discretion are part of the scope.
Applicants need a strong degree from a leading university, at least two years at a top Silicon Valley venture firm in an associate-level role, and polished writing. Helpful backgrounds include venture work combined with consulting or banking, fundraising, partnership deals, or direct work with chief executives. The base salary band is $200,000 to $250,000 USD, plus incentive pay and equity. Travel can reach 75 percent, and the schedule tracks the chief executive's, including weekends.
