Turing seeks a Client Engagement Lead - Pharma & Life Sciences to join its team in New York. Operating in the artificial intelligence sector, Turing partners with leading AI labs and Fortune 500 enterprises across industries such as life sciences, healthcare, and financial services to deploy production-grade agentic AI systems.
In this role, you will act as the primary delivery leader overseeing client engagements from signed statements of work through production rollout, user adoption, and contract renewal. You will lead a pod of Forward Deployed Engineers, maintain executive relationships, manage financial performance, and navigate enterprise complexities like security and data compliance. While coding is not required, technical literacy is essential to evaluate plans and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
This position suits a collaborative delivery professional with extensive client-facing experience in enterprise settings. Turing provides a fast-paced, startup-speed environment centered on actionable momentum and AI-driven productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships from working teams up to C-suite sponsors, guiding steering committees and executive updates.
- Navigate enterprise regulatory requirements including information security, model risk management, data residency, and procurement.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery from defining statements of work to production deployment, tracking key performance indicators and adoption metrics.
- Manage engagement financial performance, forecasting, gross margin targets, utilization, and expansion opportunities.
- Lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers and delivery staff, aligning with technical leads on architecture and staffing decisions.
Requirements
- Over 8 years of experience in client-facing delivery or consulting.
- At least 3 years of experience leading engagements or accounts for clients in financial services or related enterprise sectors.
- Demonstrated history of managing engagement financials including margins, forecasting, staffing, and renewals.
- Experience successfully launching at least one AI, ML, or data-platform program into production at an enterprise organization.
- Based in the New York metro area and able to work on-site with clients several days a week.
Qualifications
- Prior engagement management background at a technology consultancy, systems integrator, AI-native delivery firm, or internal technology organization.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as model risk management, third-party risk, and data privacy.
- Experience operating in a two-in-a-box model alongside a commercial account owner.
