Commercial Manager, Supply Chain

Deliveroo is hiring a commercial manager for its global supply chain. The post is hybrid, based in London, and full-time, reporting to a senior commercial manager. It covers the wider DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt group, with Deliveroo as the employing company.

The purpose of the role is to design one commercial model for how goods, logistics services and courier equipment flow across these three businesses. Instead of separate regional playbooks, the manager helps replace scattered local approaches with a single supply system that can grow. The team makes sure rider clothing, gear, in-store tech and everyday supplies reach couriers, merchants and partners in every market. Day to day, the manager shapes sourcing for warehousing, last-mile delivery, apparel, factory production and consumables, runs competitive tenders backed by spend analysis and total cost of ownership modelling, and builds negotiating positions on unit cost, freight, duties, quality protections and working capital. Contracts are handled with the legal team and tracked in a register along with renewals and rebates. The manager also runs supplier performance reviews and joint improvement plans, manages supply risk through dual sourcing and financial checks, and enforces ethical sourcing and modern slavery compliance across factories, while working with operations and logistics leaders to align requirements and specifications.

Applicants need substantial background in sourcing for logistics, third-party logistics or manufactured goods, with tangible commercial gains. Hands-on experience running competitive sourcing rounds and negotiating with major international suppliers is required. Strong analytical and financial skill, including total cost of ownership, landed cost and spend analytics, is needed, as is the ability to influence across regions and brands. Useful extras include sourcing apparel or hardgoods, consolidating suppliers after an acquisition, and working knowledge of shipping, import duties and cash tied up in stock. No salary is stated.
