Job Description
This is a remote, 13-month contract for a Content Strategist in the US, as the title indicates. The strategist owns the strategy for the company's owned brand channels: the blog, the podcast, web pages, long-form and short-form pieces, and agency partnership brand efforts. The job sits in the Brand Marketing group and covers planning, production and performance results.
The posting describes a practical, hands-on role. The person should set a content direction and then produce the work personally, from editorial calendars to writing, editing, production workflows and on-time delivery. Embedded within several marketing pods, the strategist turns plans from product marketing and GTM teams into brand storytelling that feeds top-of-funnel thought leadership.
Further duties include developing thought leadership for executives and subject matter experts, planning distribution to reach priority audiences, and measuring results to sharpen the editorial mix. The strategist also owns the owned-channel content plan for the company's annual SUMMIT conference, reviews attendee-facing material such as session descriptions and booth messaging, and supports employer brand storytelling with People and Talent Acquisition.
Candidates should bring a proven record in content strategy, hands-on management of blogs, podcasts and web content, and experience running agency partnerships. Experience in healthcare or B2B software marketing is helpful but optional.
