This position involves a combination of strategic execution, cultural insight, and hands-on design craft.
The role sits within Canva's International Content Group, which aims to develop a comprehensive content library by partnering with marketing, SEO, discovery, and in-market teams. The individual will oversee content creation, utilize AI tools for scalable workflows, manage local freelance designers, and conduct performance analyses to discover content opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Develop and drive creative direction for the Turkish market across social media, presentations, websites, and print
- Oversee content creation and curation including design kits, campaign assets, and creator briefs
- Utilize AI tools and scalable workflows to accelerate content production
- Lead quality control across content outputs to maintain brand guidelines and design standards
- Manage and mentor local freelance designers and creators through structured feedback and clear briefs
- Build relationships with Marketing, SEO, Community, and Country Content Strategy Lead teams
- Conduct content audits and performance analysis to identify improvement areas and opportunities
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong design portfolio showing visual craft and cultural sensitivity
- Possess an understanding of Turkish culture, consumer behavior, and design aesthetics
- Experience working with freelancers or creators by briefing, reviewing, and developing talent
- Ability to juggle multiple workstreams and shifting priorities in a fast-moving setting
