Reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, this leadership position requires orchestrating a local go-to-market organization encompassing sales, business development, channel partnerships, solutions engineering, and customer success. The ideal professional brings deep familiarity with the ANZ technology landscape, executive-level networking capabilities, and a proven ability to scale recurring-revenue operations. Daily workflows incorporate heavy reliance on artificial intelligence tools for real-time coaching, data analysis, and efficiency.
This opportunity involves regular travel throughout Australia and New Zealand, alongside occasional international trips and an initial in-person onboarding period in Toronto. Responsibilities
- Manage the regional business plan and revenue targets spanning new client acquisition, account expansion, and retention.
- Align global corporate strategy with local buying habits, regulatory requirements, and competitive conditions across ANZ.
- Formulate a partner-led growth engine by cultivating distributors, resellers, and service providers through joint business strategies and measurable pipeline objectives.
- Act as an executive sponsor for key clients and prospective accounts, developing relationships with enterprise decision-makers.
- Hire, mentor, and oversee a Sydney-based department across sales, channel development, solutions engineering, customer success, marketing, and support.
- Channel regional insights, compliance needs, and competitive intelligence back to global product and engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Extensive leadership background in enterprise software, cloud computing, cybersecurity, identity management, or adjacent technology sectors within Australia and New Zealand.
- Demonstrated track record of launching or scaling a regional business unit while holding direct ownership of revenue, personnel, partners, and client outcomes.
- Established executive network spanning clients, resellers, distributors, service providers, and the broader technology ecosystem in ANZ.
- Extensive background in channel-first leadership, including indirect go-to-market operating models.
- Expertise managing multiple go-to-market functions such as commercial sales, business development, solutions engineering, and customer success.
- Operational discipline and commercial judgment within recurring-revenue business models, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with identity and access management, privileged access, SaaS security, developer security, or artificial intelligence security.
