The organization is currently seeking a Data Entry Officer to join its team.
In this position, the professional will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and accurately entering customer accounts, pricing information, inventory records, and product catalogues into the Moniebook platform. Working closely alongside account managers and onboarding specialists, this individual ensures that data remains clean from the start to support rapid go-lives, dependable reporting, and positive retail customer experiences.
Success in the role is evaluated through metrics such as turnaround times, overall accuracy rates, and the creation of an error-free operational foundation. The position suits detail-oriented individuals who possess strong organizational capabilities and excel at managing high-volume tasks calmly. Work arrangements for this role are hybrid and outsourced, located in Ughelli North, Delta State.
Responsibilities
- Input and update merchant details including SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, and product catalogues
- Process bulk data imports via CSV files and spreadsheets after validating their completeness
- Prepare merchant accounts prior to onboarding by populating necessary configuration and inventory data
- Examine data templates submitted by merchants to identify and resolve gaps or errors
- Conduct cross-references across POS backends, spreadsheets, and CRM systems to guarantee consistency
- Document import logs, activities, and correction history inside the CRM
- Fulfill ad-hoc data requests from onboarding, support, and account management teams within established service level windows
Requirements
- One to three years of background experience in data operations, data entry, or related fields
- High level of proficiency utilizing Google Sheets or Excel, including basic formulas and data cleaning
- Familiarity working with back-office SaaS tools, point-of-sale systems, or CRM platforms
- Strong organizational skills capable of handling multiple concurrent projects
- Must be based in Ughelli North, Delta State
Qualifications
- Prior experience gained within fintech, retail tech, or SaaS environments
- Background handling bulk CSV imports, catalogue management, or data migration
- Exposure to point-of-sale platforms, inventory systems, or retail operations
