Job Description
The Demand Generation Marketing Manager plans, runs and refines programmatic account-based marketing and full-funnel programs for Motive's Mid-Market segment. The role coordinates with other segment leads so that large efforts reach the right ideal customer profile across segments and personas. It is an individual contributor position that relies on channel partners rather than hands-on channel administration.
The manager writes campaign and creative briefs, maintains target account lists, and maps existing content to each stage of the buyer journey alongside content, customer marketing and product marketing colleagues. The role also runs selected programs directly, such as webinars, calendared sales plays and direct mail, and coordinates with owners of display, LinkedIn, email, web, syndication, events and association channels.
Sales alignment is a big part of the work. The manager gives SDRs, account executives and sales leaders targeting guidance, messaging and enablement materials, and contributes to weekly sales updates. Reporting covers campaign results against pipeline goals, dashboards kept with analytics and operations teams, and recommendations to shift spend based on what the data shows.
Motive positions its platform as a way for organizations running field operations to manage drivers, vehicles and fleet spending. The posting is full-time, lists work in Austin, Nashville or San Francisco with two to three office days a week, and gives a United States compensation range of $90,000 to $117,000 USD.
