You will collaborate closely with data science, analytics, and data engineering departments to deliver intelligent workflow solutions for sales, customer success, support, enablement, and leadership teams.
The ideal candidate is an AI-native technologist who routinely utilizes AI agents daily, has prior experience successfully shipping AI products to production environments, and possesses a strong user-first mindset. Qualified applicants must be residing within the United States.
Responsibilities

- Manage the architecture of the shared go-to-market AI platform including orchestration, LLM gateways, identity controls, and SDK contracts.
- Design and execute evaluation frameworks for agent and LLM behaviors, utilizing golden datasets, human review loops, and regression suites.
- Evaluate vendor tools, models, and agent frameworks to make strategic build-versus-buy decisions.
- Act as an advocate for artificial intelligence across sales, customer success, and support teams by running demonstrations and gathering feedback.
- Determine product and technical strategies for go-to-market AI, encompassing data foundations, governance, observability, and model routing.
- Develop and manage an inclusive and high-performing AI engineering team.
- Champion and model Samsara cultural principles across the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience spanning software engineering, machine learning, data science, or data platforms, including leadership experience.
- Hands-on background building and deploying LLM applications and agentic workflows to production environments.
- Production full-stack and cloud engineering experience with tools such as Python or TypeScript, AWS, and Databricks.
- Demonstrated history of designing and running evaluation frameworks for LLM or agent systems.
- Fluent, daily usage of AI agents and coding assistants in personal workflows.
- Track record of delivering internal or customer-facing AI and machine learning products with measurable business impact.
- Experience with predictive modeling, experimentation, analytics, and data engineering foundations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Background building artificial intelligence or decisioning products for sales, customer success, support, marketing, or other go-to-market functions in a fast-growing enterprise SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with CRM, customer data, and support systems such as Salesforce, Gong, Gainsight, Zendesk, and Databricks.
- Experience utilizing agent SDKs, harnesses like LangGraph or Claude Code, LLM observability tooling, and model APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google.
