In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee product marketing for Cloud Exposure (CNAPP) and Operational Technology solutions, guiding a team of dedicated product marketing managers. Your main objective will be crafting differentiated messaging for two distinct buyers while tying both into the broader exposure management framework. You will collaborate extensively across departments to execute successful product rollouts, drive demand generation, and contribute to sales enablement programs.
This role is well-suited for an experienced technology marketing professional who excels at blending high-level strategy with creative execution in a fast-moving, matrixed corporate structure. The position requires regular commuting three days per week to company offices in either Columbia, Maryland or Boston, Massachusetts, alongside the capability to travel domestically up to twenty percent of the time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research using primary and secondary sources to guide product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
- Build buyer personas, solution messaging, and content strategies for both cloud security and operational technology markets
- Produce content for sales collateral, solution briefs, blogs, websites, webcasts, and trade shows
- Manage product and solution launches across cloud security and operational technology portfolios
- Track campaign effectiveness and launch metrics using data-driven insights
- Engage in public relations and analyst relations initiatives
- Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers, establishing priorities and conducting performance evaluations
- Collaborate with management on budget planning and spending needs
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Possess twelve or more years of high-tech product marketing or related experience
- Bring at least seven years of direct people management experience
- Demonstrate knowledge of cloud security and vulnerability management trends, plus working knowledge of operational technology and related industries like utilities and manufacturing
- Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal presentation abilities
- Be able to commute to the Columbia, Maryland or Boston, Massachusetts office three days per week
- Travel domestically up to 20 percent of the time
Qualifications
- Hold a master’s degree
- Bring working knowledge of the CNAPP and cloud security market alongside the operational technology security landscape and compliance frameworks
