Job Description
Cribl is hiring a Director, Product Management (Security) to lead the next generation of security offerings for its telemetry platform. The employer partners with major IT and security enterprises worldwide and operates as a remote-first organization. In this position, you will shape an evolving security portfolio beyond the recently launched Cribl Detect product, evaluating new market sectors and guiding strategy from conception to launch. This opportunity suits an experienced product leader with a deep background in security operations who wants to build and scale a portfolio rather than inherit an existing one.

You will ensure that new security capabilities integrate natively with the core platform and collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and technology partners. As the portfolio grows, you will hire and manage additional product managers while serving as an external ambassador for Cribl security across the industry.

- Ensure seamless integration of new features with Cribl Detect utilizing shared workflows, data models, and detection mechanisms
- Engage directly with CISOs, SOC managers, and detection analysts to validate product direction with design partners
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technology teams on product positioning, launch plans, and field enablement

- Experience performing market evaluations and building business cases under conditions of incomplete information
- Leadership background in guiding teams or influencing cross-functional groups across engineering, sales, and marketing
- Technical familiarity with detection logic, data architectures, and AI or LLM-based systems
Qualifications
- Previous early-career background working directly on a security operations team such as incident response or detection engineering
- Familiarity with security data lakes, data pipelines, or dedicated security data platforms
- Prior exposure to M&A evaluations or partner-led product strategies
- Working knowledge of OCSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and KQL
