Bosch is seeking an Automation Tester for mobile and web applications to join their team. This position focuses on designing, building, and supporting automated test scripts for iOS and Android apps alongside web platforms. The professional will test applications that communicate with embedded devices, firmware, or hardware systems. This opportunity is suited for testing professionals with significant experience in automation frameworks who can build resilient solutions across platforms and integrate test suites into continuous integration pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS and Android applications utilizing Robot Framework with Appium, XCUI Test, and UI Automator
- Automate web applications using Robot Framework alongside Selenium
- Test software applications that interact with embedded devices, firmware, or hardware systems
- Configure and manage testing environments using Android Studio and Xcode IDEs
- Prepare and execute test strategies, plans, and specifications through Jira and Xray
- Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Execute UI and API test automation via Robot Framework
- Analyze testing results, ensure proper reporting, and maintain adequate test coverage
- Manage and maintain test data, test environments, and automation frameworks
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience
- Strong hands-on background with Robot Framework using Appium and Selenium
- Practical experience setting up and managing test environments with Android Studio and Xcode IDEs
- Proficiency in macOS and Linux, including command-line operations
- Working knowledge of Playwright
- Familiarity with mobile element locators including XPath, Accessibility ID, ID, and ClassName
- Experience working with emulators, simulators, and real devices
- Working knowledge of Appium Inspector, Desired Capabilities, and Appium drivers
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of AWS Serverless architecture including AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and S3
- ISTQB certification or another relevant testing certification
- Experience in Playwright test automation
