Job Description
Field-based business development executive: Deliveroo is recruiting for its Brighton team on a full-time, hybrid basis. The post focuses on signing restaurant partners in Brighton and the wider surrounding region, which broadens the selection customers can order from and supports the company's ongoing growth locally.
The executive is part of Deliveroo's Regional UK and Ireland team, which oversees performance across all four nations covered by the UK and Ireland business. The position pairs business development with partner onboarding. The executive finds and pitches high-value restaurants, explains how Deliveroo's technology creates commercial value, and closes deals through visits, email, phone and social media. When a restaurant agrees to join, the executive runs its onboarding so it becomes live quickly and seamlessly. Negotiating contract terms and partnership arrangements that benefit both sides forms part of the work, as does building a clear view of the local food scene, including emerging trends and the brands residents prefer.
Candidates should have a track record of winning new business and meeting challenging commercial targets, strong negotiating ability, and enough independence to spend much of their time travelling. Clear communication and the skill to present a product's value to business owners are expected. Background in hospitality, food delivery or fast-growing marketplaces is useful. Applicants need a current UK licence and a car for regional travel. The posting gives no salary information.
