Job Description
Field-based business development executive: Deliveroo is recruiting for its South West England team. The full-time post is hybrid and centres on bringing new restaurant partners into the network across the region. Each addition widens the choice open to customers and supports the company's continued expansion in the area.
The executive works closely with Deliveroo's Regional UK and Ireland team, which steers results across the four nations of the UK. Much of the job takes place in the field: identifying and pitching promising restaurants, showing the commercial merits of Deliveroo's technology, and closing partnerships through in-person meetings, correspondence, calls and social channels. The executive also keeps onboarding moving for every new partner and negotiates arrangements that create shared commercial value. Keeping a sharp grasp of local dining, emerging culinary movements and the brands that residents favour is also part of the remit.
Applicants need a proven record in new business acquisition, the ability to structure profitable and durable deals, and a self-driven attitude to independent work on the road. Good interpersonal skills help when connecting with business owners and explaining the product's worth. Background in hospitality, food delivery or fast-growing marketplaces is an advantage. Candidates need a current UK licence and a car for travel across the region. The posting does not specify a salary.
