Job Description
Canva is hiring a Field Marketing Manager on a 12-month contract, based in San Francisco. The role is part of the Field Marketing team inside the company's global business-to-business marketing group. The manager works with Sales and Customer Success, along with several marketing specialisms such as content, brand and experiential, to create programmes that reach high-value audiences across the revenue funnel, from creating demand to speeding up pipeline and growing existing accounts.
The manager forms a close partnership with Sales so that regional go-to-market plays are designed together and feed directly into account strategies, pipeline progress and closed deals. Ownership extends to planning field and regional marketing, not only the execution. That means designing blended plans that combine live events, online campaigns, content and account-focused outreach to advance priority enterprise accounts down the funnel, with events as one tool among many. The manager reviews pipeline, program and campaign data through dashboards and attribution, adapts global campaigns, customer stories and product priorities into localised plans for US enterprise audiences, and joins up work across brand, content and lifecycle groups along with customer and product marketing so every activation feels like one story. Oversight covers spend, suppliers, schedules and delivery standards for events, webinars, executive programmes and partner activations.
The posting asks for concrete evidence that a Sales partnership shaped joined-up strategies that advanced pipeline and closed deals, plus experience owning regional or field programmes, ideally with named examples and quantified results. Candidates should enjoy working with data, have built multi-channel strategies beyond events and webinars, understand account-based frameworks for enterprise accounts, and work effectively without heavy oversight. Proven background within the American market is required, with Canada or Latin America experience a plus. Eight-plus years in a comparable position, ideally at a fast-scaling software or tech business, is expected.

- Build a real partnership with Sales so regional go-to-market plays are shaped together
- Own field and regional marketing strategy, including blended plans spanning live events, digital, content and account-based outreach

- Join up brand, content, lifecycle and customer marketing work so programmes feel like a single campaign
- Oversee spend, suppliers, schedules and delivery standards for events, webinars, executive programmes and partner activations
