As a FinOps Recons Associate, the incumbent joins a newly established subteam within the Financial Operations department to manage and execute reconciliations across all organizational products and regional markets. This position focuses on ensuring the accurate daily flow of funds, maintaining complete oversight of financial movements, preventing incorrect transactions, and safeguarding the company against financial exposure or monetary loss.

Responsibilities
- Manage and execute daily financial operations reconciliations
- Oversee reconciliation processes across all regional products to guarantee proper fund movement and prevent transaction errors
- Collaborate with product teams to automate reconciliations across products and geographic regions to eliminate gaps and prevent financial loss
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve unreconciled transactions by identifying root causes
- Establish and maintain best-in-class reconciliation processes for newly introduced products and market expansions
Requirements
- Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- One to three years of relevant work experience in a startup, fast-paced environment, payments, fintech, or financial services sector
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify data patterns and spot discrepancies
Qualifications
- Experience working within or interacting with banks and large financial institutions focusing on finance, payments, and reconciliations
- Practical working experience with reconciliation tools and SQL
