The company is seeking a backend-leaning full-stack engineer to join a small team building the next generation of Creative Agents within ElevenCreative. In this position, the professional will help shape system capabilities and architecture, turning ideas into reliable audio, image, and video generation features without requiring users to master complex prompting. The role combines brand-new development with the ongoing operation of a live product, requiring ownership from backend infrastructure up to the customer-facing interface.
Responsibilities
- Build production agents and expand capabilities utilizing prompts, tool use, orchestration, new models, and MCP integrations
- Design and operate reliable backend systems for asynchronous creative generation and long-running tasks emphasizing performance, observability, scalability, and security
- Develop shared evaluations and live quality monitoring, including model-based assessments of image and video outputs
- Own features completely from user needs identification and prototyping to full-stack shipping and production support alongside product, design, and engineering colleagues
Requirements
- Demonstrate evidence of exceptional engineering through shipped products, solved complex problems, and owned systems
- Possess strong backend engineering skills alongside experience operating production systems and solid fundamentals in APIs, cloud infrastructure, storage, and asynchronous processing
- Bring hands-on experience in agent development, understanding prompts, tools, execution logic, evaluations, and the challenges of reliable, secure operation
- Show proof of independent, end-to-end ownership with confidence working across the stack, including frontend delivery when necessary
- Display sound product judgment, clear communication skills, and enthusiasm for creative agents
Qualifications
- Familiarity with HTTP, WebSockets, and asynchronous workers to build reliable communication between services and manage failure recovery
- Experience with multimodal generation, creative editors, MCP, or building products within a small, fast-moving team
