ElevenLabs has raised significant funding from prominent investors and operates with a high-velocity, low-bureaucracy approach where autonomous teams focus heavily on impact and artificial intelligence integration.
In this role, you will build the next generation of Creative Agents within ElevenCreative, connecting underlying AI models and creative tools without requiring advanced prompting expertise. You will work within a small team where engineers manage the entire stack, spanning user interfaces, backend services, agent architecture, and operational infrastructure. The position involves both greenfield development and iterating on live products, taking features from initial concept through production deployment based on user feedback. The position allows for global remote work or optional presence at company hubs in London, New York, San Francisco, and Warsaw.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct complete agent-powered functionalities, managing everything from frontend interfaces and application states to backend services, APIs, and data storage.
- Build agent capabilities and integrations involving model orchestration, creative tools, and reliable asynchronous workflows for video, image, and audio generation.
- Operate and maintain the infrastructure supporting these features while enhancing performance, quality, security, and scalability through monitoring and testing.
- Take full ownership of designated problem areas from initial prototyping and discovery to deployment and ongoing operations in collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated engineering capabilities across both frontend and backend development, with a history of independently delivering production applications.
- Proficiency in designing user interfaces, data models, APIs, and backend services while understanding how these elements function together as a unified system.
- Practical background in cloud infrastructure, deployment, observability, testing, and asynchronous processing, with skills to troubleshoot issues across the entire stack.
- Proven end-to-end ownership, product judgment, and communication abilities to guide ambiguous problems from technical design to operation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on background creating production agents, evaluations, Model Context Protocol integrations, creative editors, or multimodal products.
- Experience operating within small, fast-moving team environments.
