Tether is hiring a Fullstack Engineer for its AgenticOps team to support QVAC application development teams. In this hands-on role, the engineer will focus on desktop and mobile applications, shared runtimes, AI harnesses, and skills packages. The position involves building and maintaining developer tools, integrating AI agents into engineering workflows, and enhancing automation and code quality. Successful candidates will collaborate with engineers to identify tool improvements, manage projects from implementation to adoption, and shorten feedback loops.
Applicants need strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js capabilities, alongside experience in creating developer tools, integrating AI coding assistants, and managing Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and debugging. Excellent English communication skills are required for this remote role.
Responsibilities
- Assess, integrate, and maintain developer tools, repository guidance, and AI agents.
- Build and run automated agents in CI and scheduled workflows to analyze failures and propose verified fixes.
- Enhance automated pull request reviews to improve accuracy and reduce reviewer noise.
- Create code quality scripts and checks for complexity, file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.
- Partner with package owners to establish practical thresholds and perform targeted refactoring.
- Upgrade development environments, testing protocols, and build and release pipelines for reliable change verification.
- Prioritize improvements with engineering teams, support onboarding via documentation, and measure performance and operating costs.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation utilized by others.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Hands-on background using and integrating AI coding tools or agents with an understanding of their limitations and output validation.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and systematic debugging of build, test, or integration issues.
- A solid methodology for maintaining code quality, helpful automated checks, and behavior-preserving refactoring.
- Capacity to work autonomously, cooperate with engineers, and communicate effectively in English.
