Job Description
Deliveroo is recruiting a full-time Head of International Product, also titled Group Product Manager for Customer Experience, based on-site in London. The remit is global, spanning DoorDash, Wolt and Deliveroo as they move onto a single worldwide platform. The team's aim is to win back customers who have had a problem with an order, through support that is effective, empathetic and personal.
The role leads one of the most important product areas in customer experience. The head manages a group of product managers who build the tools behind customer support across dozens of countries. Work includes charting where the area should head over the long term, coaching and growing the product managers, and deciding how AI and human expertise should work together to resolve issues faster and more effectively. The head also oversees products that draw on customer and operational data, sets up feedback loops that improve quality and efficiency, and works with regional teams to turn local needs into solutions that scale worldwide. The head works alongside operations, applied AI, engineering, design and data science colleagues, and briefs senior leaders on vision and results.
The posting asks for at least seven years of product management and two to three years or more of managing product managers. Experience building products that use AI or machine learning to address real user problems is expected, along with a record of setting vision and roadmaps that produce measurable results. Candidates must be comfortable leading complex cross-team work and moving between big-picture strategy and hands-on detail. Strong communication, including experience influencing senior leaders, and real empathy for users are required. The company says competitive salary and equity options are part of the package.
