Job Description
Faire is seeking a Head of Retailer Product Marketing to lead a team of product marketing professionals and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer in San Francisco. This full-time, hybrid role operates on-site in San Francisco three days per week, with optional remote work for up to four weeks per year. In this position, the selected individual will define the strategy for how the technology wholesale platform communicates its value proposition to independent store owners globally, helping retail businesses discover international products and strengthen their operations.
The role suits a resourceful builder who can establish operational structure from scratch, direct end-to-end go-to-market strategies for complex offerings, and act as a senior thought partner across product, revenue, marketing, and operations groups. Key responsibilities include leading the Opening Soon acquisition initiative, establishing cohesive retailer narratives across the customer lifecycle, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and modeling practical artificial intelligence adoption to accelerate marketing workflows.
Candidates must bring deep go-to-market ownership experience, a history of managing product marketing individual contributors, strong cross-functional instincts, and data fluency tied to business growth metrics. While this posting lists a base pay range of $208,000 to $286,000 per year alongside equity and benefits, total compensation is determined by transferable skills, relevant work experience, and location.

- Integrate artificial intelligence tools into team operations to speed up delivery
Requirements
- Experience managing and developing product marketing individual contributors across different career stages

- Familiarity with core business metrics such as gross merchandise volume and retention
- Active experimentation with artificial intelligence adoption tools
Qualifications
- Background in retail or small business environments
- Experience working with two-sided marketplaces with interdependent buyer and brand motions
