Job Description

The organization relies on remote-first teams and promotes a flexible work environment. This remote position functions as an HR Specialist within the Employer of Record industry.

The role serves as a key business partner to clients across the EMEA region, advising on workforce management, compliance, and complex human resources matters. The selected professional will handle the entire employee lifecycle, act as a localized expert, and collaborate with various partners including payroll providers and legal advisors. Ideal candidates possess background experience in human resources, regional labor law knowledge, and the ability to navigate employee relations. The position provides an opportunity to contribute to digital transformation, process optimization, and compliance projects within a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the primary human resources contact duties for onboarding, lifecycle events, and exits within the Czech Republic.
  • Handle sensitive employee relations matters, participate in meetings, and prepare compliant legal documentation.
  • Coordinate relationships with third-party vendors such as payroll providers, benefits brokers, and legal advisors.
  • Advise clients on compliance, benefits, workforce planning, and regional labor laws in the EMEA region.
  • Review and provide counsel regarding employment contracts and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support clients through Performance Improvement Plans and coordinate salary adjustments.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for employee immigration and mobility needs alongside the Global Mobility team.
  • Drive internal process optimization, digital transformation, automation, and artificial intelligence adoption.
  • Lead governance projects and standardise human resources practices globally.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience working in human resources.
  • Deep expertise in regional labor laws and managing complex employee relations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in the German language.
  • Knowledge of the Employer of Record industry.
  • Prior experience managing employee lifecycles in Germany or Austria.
