Job Description
Canva is hiring an International Growth Strategy Lead for education, a full-time on-site role in Sydney or Melbourne that works closely with the International and Sales groups. The post is a strategy and systems job: it defines how education growth is organised in each market where Canva operates.
The lead makes education a worldwide growth vertical, chooses which countries to scale and the sequence, and brings local education heads under a single international approach. The shift is from training teachers toward helping schools make Canva a routine part of how teachers and pupils work. Opportunities across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and other regions get ranked by readiness, size and impact. The lead also connects education marketing with education content and sets up the transfer into Education Sales.
A major aim is to get Sales and Marketing working alongside Product, Content and Partnerships toward measurable education growth goals, and to convert lessons from one market into a playbook that can travel to others while keeping what works. The lead guides local education heads and country leaders so that central strategy suits each setting. Ideal candidates have run growth for a function, vertical or market at scale, can link global planning to a single classroom, and influence people without holding authority over them. Interviews are online.
