Job Description
Jumia is hiring an Inventory Manager in Ghana to keep stock records accurate and physical stock secure across its fulfillment centers. The role runs cycle counts and stock audits, investigates variances and shrinkage, oversees stock ageing and warehouse capacity, and ensures compliance with WMS processes and SOPs. It is a full-time position for a candidate with a supply chain or logistics degree and at least four years of inventory control experience in e-commerce, retail or FMCG.
Responsibilities
- Run daily cycle counts, wall-to-wall counts and periodic inventory audits across warehouse locations
- Investigate stock variances and losses, and put corrective action plans in place
- Oversee stock ageing, slotting, putaway strategies and storage capacity
- Work with commercial, inbound and outbound teams on disposal of slow-moving, expired or damaged stock
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering or finance
- At least four years of inventory control and warehouse management experience in e-commerce, retail or FMCG
- High proficiency with warehouse management systems, ERP tools and Excel
- Track record of inventory accuracy above 99 percent and managing shrinkage controls
