Canva is hiring an account manager for K-12 education in Vietnam on a 12-month contract at full-time hours. The post can be done remotely from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with occasional travel. It belongs to Canva's K-12 account group, which helps teachers, school leaders and district officials as Canva moves further into schools and learning institutions.
The manager owns the complete relationship life cycle with school systems: planning, prospecting, onboarding, continued use and measuring outcomes. Important contacts include the national Ministry of Education and Training as well as provincial education offices, school IT departments, curriculum heads and education influencers. The manager promotes Canva Education as an ambassador, coaches educators in using the product, and recommends ways that school leaders can use Canva for curriculum planning, joint student projects and staff development.
Additional duties include studying adoption figures and usage patterns to identify fresh engagement approaches, speaking for Canva at meetups, summits and training sessions, and coordinating across Product, Marketing and Customer Success groups to improve the K-12 offer. The candidate should understand how schools adopt new technology, be able to build retention across an entire school system, and explain concepts simply. Knowledge of social media practice for teaching audiences is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the whole relationship life cycle with school systems, from first contact through to measuring impact
- Cultivate relationships with administrators, IT leads and curriculum heads across Vietnamese education
- Coach teachers and educators on using Canva well
- Advise school leaders on curriculum planning, joint student work and staff development
- Analyse adoption data and usage trends to find engagement opportunities
- Speak for Canva Education at events, conferences and workshops
- Coordinate across Product, Marketing and Customer Success on the K-12 offer
Requirements
