The role builds relationships with C-level executives at top brands and distributors, acquires new high-potential brands, and promotes Jumia's advertising and visibility services. Responsibilities
- Build relationships with C-level executives and account managers at top brands and distributors
- Lead acquisition of new high-potential brands and large distributors for the category
- Promote Jumia's advertising and visibility services to brands and partners in the portfolio
- Negotiate long-term partnerships and coordinate with merchandising, operations and logistics
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in the category or retail industry in the market
- In-depth knowledge of the category ecosystem, including key brands, distributors and consumer trends
- Proven commercial acumen and a track record of negotiating with senior stakeholders
- Solid analytical skills and fluent English, written and spoken
Qualifications
- Graduate of a top-tier business or engineering school, or an internationally recognized equivalent
