Motive seeks a Lead Implementation Consultant to join its team in the United States on a full-time, on-site basis. Motive builds software and hardware technology that helps businesses running physical operations manage safety, finances, and fleets through artificial intelligence tools, serving over 120,000 clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises.
In this role, you will act as the primary contact during the implementation lifecycle for key accounts, predominantly within the Fortune 500. You will guide clients through initial system setups, advise on change management strategies, and ensure optimal utilization of Motive products. This position involves managing project timelines, tracking key performance indicators, mitigating risks, and directing both software training and adoption across client organizations.
This position suits professionals with a strong background in business-to-business project management, telematics, or fleet management who excel at communicating with executive stakeholders. Travel to client sites is required for this position approximately 40% of the time, and some interviews or onboarding sessions may take place in person at a global office.
Responsibilities
- Define, track, and achieve key performance indicators for customer implementation programs
- Own the end-to-end implementation process for assigned accounts to drive software adoption and training
- Lead cross-functional project teams and oversee project timelines and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful completion
- Gather project requirements through collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor client progress to ensure organization-wide adoption within scope and schedule
- Host virtual or in-person customer sessions
- Travel to client on-site locations approximately 40 percent of the time
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in project management or a related B2B capacity
- Authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
- Ability to execute a non-compete covenant with the employer depending on role and primary work location
Qualifications
- Experience in telematics, logistics, or fleet management
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
