Jumia is hiring a Logistics Network and Operations Manager in Ghana to oversee sorting center, reverse logistics and freight transport operations within its supply chain. The role reports to the Head of Logistics, tracks parcel backlogs, optimizes outbound transport costs and leads warehouse and dispatch teams. It is a full-time, field-based position for a logistics professional with at least five years of progressive physical logistics experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations across the sorting center, reverse logistics and transport hubs, using FIFO processes
- Track parcel backlogs, monitor hub quality and coordinate delivery capacity with dispatch agents and 3PL partners
- Optimize outbound parcel flows and freight routes to reduce transport cost per package
- Lead and train sorting and transportation managers, and build dashboards to monitor logistics KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, industrial engineering or a related field
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in physical logistics
- Experience leading warehouse and dispatch teams with end-to-end SLA compliance
- Ability to work with HSE, security, facilities and external transport partners
Qualifications
- Comfort with regional travel and field visits to logistics hubs
